I was watching Sweet November last night for the first time and was distracted by all the knitted projects in the movie. I am such a nerd and stopped and reversed the movie at the scene where Charlize Theron is knitting...trying to see if she was really knitting. I couldn't tell. I think she was acting :)

So Unique LA is doing a Spring 2009 show. Having always knitting in wool...not so springy, I am challenged to come up with warm weather friendly digs. So what a way to get those creative juices going!

Switching Gears

Over the holidays, I developed knitter's elbow. Very painful. The only thing that heals it is to discontinue the activity that created the pain.

So it has been a whole month since the injury and I still cannot knit. So I am going to give it another month. In the meantime, I have switch to embroidery. It uses different muscles.

Here is one of my creations. I am now in the process of working my images into my designs.
